Suggest Treatment For Tingling In Mouth While Having Iron Deficiency
I am low on iron but I keep getting a tingly sensation inside my mouth on my left side only, I have been on iron pills for a week. I haven't had blood test but because I have been bleeding for 20 days my doctor could see I was low on iron anfd with my symptoms achy legs and very tired
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain it seems that you have got Nutritional DeficiencyAnaemia due to low iron levels and tingling in mouth seems to be due to side effect of it.. There can also be Vitamin B12 deficiency leading to the symptoms you have.. I would suggest you to continue taking iron supplements.. Along with it you can also take Vitamin B complex supplements.. Take foods rich in nutrition and add bananas, spinach in your diet.. Take ample of sleep and do not exert much till you start feeling well.. You can also gargle with numbing mouthwash in case if you also have burning sensation in mouth.
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora..
