HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
It is possible that the abnormal sensation is related to neuropathy.
This refers to abnormal function of the nerves and there are different possible causes, it is possible that it is related to the migraines especially if a headache occurs around the same time period, other causes include :
(a) diabetes
(b)trauma
(c)
vitamin b12 or
folate deficiency
(d)liver or
kidney disease
(e)side effect of medication
(f)exposure to toxins
(g)nerve related conditions such as ms or stroke
(h)idiopathic-cause is not known
(i)infection such as
shingles If you wish to rule out one or more of these, it would require a visit to your doctor.
This should include a history of all relevant symptoms, examination and investigations
Investigations may include bloods such as vitamin levels,
screening for diabetes, liver or kidney check
There are medications that can help with neuropathy, they would require a prescription from your doctor.
I hope this helps
