Suggest Treatment For Tingling Sensation In The Knees Post A Knee Replacement Surgery
I had a partial knee replacement 4 yrs ago and about a month ago I injured that same knee coming down on it hard and I believe twisted a little . The pain was severe at my MCL for a while and then it seemed to gradually move across my knee to now the lateral side. The last few days the pain goes down into my foot with occasionally some tingling . Could this be a meniscus injury or LCL?

Suggest Treatment For Tingling Sensation In The Knees Post A Knee Replacement Surgery
Hi, It is quite common after knee surgery. It is due to nerve irritation following the surgery. Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and get evaluated. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
