Suggest Treatment For Tinnitus, Diarrhoea And Fever

I am on Cipro for a UTI, but am also quite ill, head pounding, sinus and face pain, ears ringing, diarrhea, fever, aching bones. What pain reliever is safest to take? I know NSAIDs are not a good mix. I took some Dayquil, and Claritin too. Is this a problem?

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have tinnitus, diarrhoea and fever along with UTI and sinusitis . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case the symptom like tinnitus and fever are due to sinusitis . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , blood test and examine ear with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , decongestants and expectorant along with supplements like ginkgo biloba . As far as diarrhea is concern , it probably occur due antibiotics as they sometimes destroy normal flora of stomach . I would suggest you to take some probiotics food with antibiotics like yogurt . Take acetaminophen (tylenol ) as painkiller .
