Hi my son has unilateral tinnitus in the left ear for the past nine days. Hi pitched until it decreased a bit from an 8 to a 6 last night he says. Last night he had a nose bleed with clotting. Today he has had 2 more nose bleeds. The tinnitus has stayed the same, about a 6 with a humming sound. He had an MRI yesterday to rule out acoustic tumor... It required contrast but the radiologist said he didn t need it to see what he was looking for. We are going to mayo clinic in Minnesota next month due to him being very fatigued and becomes tires easily.. He has Ulcerative Colitis. Ruled out Mito disease yet he has 2 mutations that has to do with muscle fatigue but one is auto recessive and one is so new that they don t know if it s AR or AD. He is 12 and 116 pounds and 5 ft.
