While driving home from work last night I felt very tired, light headed and queasy, the feeling persisted for most of last night and this morning I have a headache that is not responding to pain killers

you must be having stress induced headache called tension headache.Lack of sleep or non refreshing sleep can lead to morning headache. try out tab naproxen as pain killer and also take an anxiolytic if you are tense. You need to visit a pain physician or neurologist for proper history and management
