Suggest Treatment For Tonsillitis In An Infant

Hi, my 11 month old developed tonsillitis, she was on amoxycillin but after the 4th dose she started having diarrhoea and had fever which would stay on and subside once panadol was given and would come back again once the effect had gone. I took her back to the GP who changed her antibiotic to erythromycin...she was doig good until her third day when she started having fever again and has been having low grade fever since...what shouls i do?

Hi,

Swab from tonsils site and AST test can be done and then all known antibiotics which can inhibit organism. This can be known and the safest one can be given.
