Suggest Treatment For Torn Calf Muscle Along With Knee Pain

helo i have been suffering with knee pain and pain on the inside of the knee. i have had a mri done but it is showing that the calf muscle to be torn but the pain is much more in the actual knee what should i do. it is constantly hurting especially if i have been walking for long periods of time?

Hello and thank you for your question.
Calf muscles attach at the knee so your knee pain may be from your torn calf muscle. If you have a torn calf muscle then you need to be resting it as much as possible and letting it have time to heal. Try to avoid long walks whenever possible. Rest your leg and make sure you are drinking plenty of water. Taking a daily multivitamin may also improve your healing process.
