My Mom is 77 years old and she hasbeen under alot of strees this year. She had a small stoke (the doctors think) back in Sept. of this year. She is getting the shakes really bad and some extreme headaches. She did have a turmor in her head (took med. to take care of it) The last doctor that she went to said that she never had one. Could it be there hidden? Is that why she has the shakes and the headaches. She just got new glasses. She is on meds for blood pressure, cholesterol and a others. They have checked her sugar, fine. Could you please help her. Thank You, Sheryl
Her shakes needs proper evaluation to rule out fits or tremors. Kindly get EEG done to rule out among these. Both symptoms may be controlled by medication. Regarding brain tumor, it is uncommon to disappear on its own. Either it was not diagnosed properly or it was not there at all.
Contrast MRI brain with magnetic resonance spectroscopy can confirm the diagnosis. You need proper prescription for that. Headache can be managed with rest, checking her vision for need of glasses, avoiding stress, drinking 3 liter water, sleeping for at least 8 hours, avoiding heat and direct sun light on eyes, taking painkillers like Naproxen / Ibuprofen after proper prescription.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
