Suggest Treatment For Typhoid After Recovering From Dengue
Dear sir My daughter suffered from dengue from 13 august and admitted in hospital and taken two units of plate- lates and discharged from hospital fever continus from the date, now she diagnosed with typhoid and taking zifi 300 mg twice daily but her fever not coming down what should be done now

I really appreciate your concern, with the low immune system such infection of GI tract may takes little more time but this is noting to worry some time it may need second antibiotic for better result, (Drug resistance and differential diagnosis nee to taken in account ) hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
