Suggest Treatment For Typhoid Fever
I have got typhoid 3 years ago and also got treated. Last week i had fever for 2 days then my fever was gone. I was feeling week and had some kind of taste in my mouth. So i went for blood test and it showed positive for typhoid. But my doctor on seeing the report said that i dont have typhoid , i am normal and can eat everything. Plz let me know whether i hav typhoid or not

I can understand your concern.
You want to know whether you have typhoid or not.
For that you collect blood for serum widal test.If it will show high titre then typhoid is present.(>1:200 titre mostly).
The another test is you can do stool and blood culture over special media that is wilson and blair media.If typhoid bacilli present then black colony will be present.
I hope this two test will help you to know whether typhoid present or not.
