My wife was diagnosed with having the typhus virus and has undertaking a course of antibiotics and tablets for nausea. It did appear that all was well after about 15 days but since she is now experiencing upset stomachs and feels sick (stomach) after most meals. Do you advise another checkup? Thanks You
Understanding your concern. As per your query your wife have symptoms of typhus and stomach upset which seems to be due to viral infection and could be secondary to stomach infection.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined if symptoms keeps on persisting.
- Avoid stress.
- Drink lots of water to maintain adequate hydration.
- You should take soft, plain, non-spicy foods.
- You should lessen use of milk and milk products.
- Avoid fast foods, carbonated drinks & gas producing food products like cabbage, etc.
-You should take tab norflox tz twice daily with tab lomotil twice daily for 3 days.
- You should avoid intake of outside food.
