Suggest Treatment For Ulcer Inside The Lower Eyelid

Hello.. I have a small ulcer looking sore forming inside my lower eyelid... It s uncomfortable and starting to swell very slightly Do I need to go to a doctor? Or could I get eye drops of some description? My vision is fine it reminds me of a mouth ulcer Thanks

Hi,

From your description, I am of the opinion that the ulcer you are referring to is chalazion.

It is formed due to low-grade chronic infection of meibomian gland Inthe eyelids. Antibiotic eye drops would work a little in the case and you should go for a systemic antibiotic.

Definitive treatment is the removal of the chalazion and that can be done by any local ophthalmologist at your local place.
