Suggest Treatment For Ulcers Around The Penis Shaft And Scrotum

I have some ulcers around my shaft and on my scrotum. It doesn t hurt when I touch them. I have a swollen lymph node on my left side but not the right side. it doesn t itch nor do I have any pain when I urinate. I do not have a fever or feel sick at all. I already went to the doctor and she told me she worked there for 23 years and has not seen it anything like it. She doubts it is herpes but was not sure. Can you help me?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and thanks for posting. We cannot diagnose anyone online, but whenever a patient has these symptoms, please make sure you are fully evaluated for all sexually transmitted infections. If the physician has not ordered any bloodwork for you then please find someone else who does.
Lymph node enlargement along with ulcers can sometimes be seen with
herpes, syphilis, as well as Lymphogranuloma venereum which is linked to chlamydia. Please obtain treatment and correct follow up. Please also avoid any sexual contacts and make sure your partners get tested, treated as well.
Best of luck
