Suggest Treatment For Uncontrolled Diabetes
Hello I Diagnosed with diabetes type 2 about 5 years ago.I started my medications with half a metformin pill daily and my blood sugar was controlled for about one year.after that,it wasn t adequate and I gradually increase my metformin intake to 3 per day.it was good up to 4 years and finally I add Glyclazide to my prescription too.again started with half a pill but gradually increased to 3 per day.Now,I use 3 glyclazide 80mg and 3 metformin per day and still my blood sugar is high.what s wrong with me and what should I do?

all the anti diabetic medications act in the betacells of the pancreas.
beta cells secrete insulin
these beta cells get damaged gradually by long term use of diabetic medications
and a time comes when most of the beta cells are damaged. and there will be a need for supplimenting insulin from outside.
apart from medications
anerobic exercises
and diet control are must

There is nothing to get alarmed because this is a natural happening in the course of diabetes progression.
I am sorry for the situation you are in.
in my opinion you are taking medication in good dose.
in type 2 diabetes there will be progressive destruction of beta cells which will reduce the effectiveness of therapy. but you did not mentioned anything about your diet and exercise.
diet and exercise plays very important role in diabetes we can say that without them your diabetes treatment is incomplete.
