Suggest Treatment For Upper Back Pain And Numbness In Arms

Hi. I have pain in my left ear and my left side of my upper back. I can only sleep on my right side and back.

That being said recently sleeping on my back will give my numbing feeling in my left arm and fingers.

I have a pinch nerve middle up part of my back and the pain is getting worse. Please advise what action I should take. I have been to a acupuncture, chiropractor and had epidural shots in my spine. I did not like the epidural because my back in the same area is always tender and sometimes get sharp pain

I would get a MRI of the cervical spine.

Your symptoms suggest some sort of stenosis in the cervical spine, a "pinched" nerve at some area causing your symptoms of pain and numbness.

If you have not had improvement with your current treatments, it would be helpful to be evaluated by a neurosurgeon.
