General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Acute bronchitis usually doesn't lead to heart failure. Your congestive heart failure could be due to chronic obstructive respiratory disease, hypertension, valvular heart disease etc.

Echocardiography will be beneficial to do further work up. I suggest you consult a cardiologist for treatment of heart failure. Diuretic and an ACE inhibitor group of drugs can be prescribed in congestive heart failure.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
