Hi,

Pain on the upper right side of the abdomen that radiates across the stomach can be caused by several factors, including gastrointestinal issues, liver disease, gallbladder disease, and kidney disease. Given your history of gastroparesis, gastric bypass, and bacterial overgrowth in the bowel, your symptoms may be related to one or more of these conditions.

It is important to discuss your symptoms with your healthcare provider, who can perform a thorough evaluation to determine the underlying cause of your pain and recommend appropriate treatment options. This may include further testing such as ultrasounds, CT scans, or endoscopy to visualize the affected area and identify any potential issues.

In the meantime, it may be helpful to prioritize self-care and pain management techniques, such as getting plenty of rest, practicing relaxation exercises such as deep breathing or meditation, and using over-the-counter pain medications as directed. It may also be helpful to maintain a healthy diet and hydration status to support your overall health and well-being.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

Upper right-sided pain that radiates across the stomach can have various causes such as liver or gallbladder problems, peptic ulcers, pancreatitis, or inflammation of the small or large intestines. Since you have a history of gastric bypass surgery, gastroparesis, and bacterial overgrowth in the bowel, these conditions could also be contributing to your symptoms. In addition, stage 3 kidney failure may also be a contributing factor.

It is important to seek medical attention to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms and to receive appropriate treatment. This may involve a physical exam, imaging tests, and possibly further blood work or other tests. Your doctor may prescribe medication to help manage your pain and other symptoms and may recommend changes to your diet or other lifestyle modifications. It is also important to manage your kidney disease appropriately.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
