I am experiencing urinary tract bleeding, mostly nocturnal. Over the last couple of weeks I have noticed blood spotting on my pajamas when I get up in the morning but nothing during the day. However, yesterday morning as I was preparing to shower, I experienced a experienced a short stream of pure blood from my urinary tract. I have had kidney stones in the past, but I m not experiencing any of the pain I ve had with them in the past. I had radiation treatment for prostate cancer ten years ago and regular check ups have not revealed any recurrence. What could be causing this problem and should I be concerned or is it likely to go to go away on its own? Thanks for any advice you might have for me. Dick
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have bleeding in urine. It may be due to stone, urinary tract infection or some kidney mass lesion. You should go for urine routine and microscopic examination as well as ultrasound abdomen. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment according to diagnosis. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic.
