Suggest Treatment For Uterine Fibroid During Pregnancy?

Hi I am 3 and a half month pregnant and has a fibroid measuring 10mm. The NT scan is normal, but doctor advised me to take complete bed rest since 2nd month of conception. I am taking nidagen 200 , duphaston and metformin tablets twice daily. I am having a history of an abortion 1 year back due to no heart beat in the 2nd month of pregnancy. Doctor told me that there is some issue with the placenta as it is slightly lowered. I am also taking thyroxine tablet 75 mg for past 3 years. Is my doctors decision suitable for me?

Hi,

As a physician I would like to tell you that your doctor's decision is perfectly fine and you should follow his instructions. Fibroids can cause problems in early pregnancy only and thus he has advised you a complete bed rest.
