Suggest Treatment For Uterine Fibroid, Pain In Lower Abdomen With Heavy Bleeding

Hi Doctor I have fibroids and endometrium issues. I had done a surgery to remove the fibroids in 2012. Now again I had severe non stop bleeding and when I took scan I found that I have fibroids again. I am 37 yrs old unmarried female. Now I suffer with excessive bleeding and non stop periods. My doctor advised to take Trapic, but when i stop taking the tablet, I suffer again with heavy blood clots and flow is heavy. I feel much anemic and weak. Also there is a pain in my lower abdomen when there is heavy flow. I am fed up of taking tablets and I am afraid now. Pl help me out.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

The recurrence of fibroids is the most probable cause of heavy bleeding or menorrhagia. I suggest you to consult your gynecologist for clinical assessment and planning of management of fibroids. Other that surgery fibroids can be managed by artery embolization.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
