Suggest Treatment For Uterine Fibroid
I recently had a pelvic ultrasound done because I have been experiencing some back pain and I am3 weeks late for my period. The ultrasound showed I have a uterine fibroid, a small cyst, and thick endometrial lining (20mm). My gyn did a pap but the results are not back yet and I have to schedule a biopsy of the endometrial yet. I m having shock wave therapy done on my kidney and getting a stent put in next week for an obstruction of the left kidney so ob wants me to wait until that is done first. So my question is what could be causing the thickened endometrial lining?

Best treatment for uterine fibroids is hormone therapy. If required, local resection of fibroid is done which is called as myomectomy. Sometimes, hysterectomy (removal of whole uterus) is done.
