Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Uterine fibroid is a benign lesion which occurs due to excess growth of muscle tissues of the uterus. In your case, it is advisable to get it removed surgically. If left alone, it can cause dysfunctional uterine bleeding and various complications associated with it. For any cancer to be proven, the tissue which is excised or biopsy tissue needs to undergo histopathological study and reporting. Also, from the findings of the report suggest there could be some other associated conditions along with fibroid, which may need attention.
