HI, I just found out I have a fibroid tumor. The size is 5cm x 4.5cm x 4.5cm. It is on my right side and pushing my uterus to the left. I have been having pain in my left side for over a month along with lower back pain. I also feel like my stomach is bigger and I can t get it to flatten out. About what size is this tumor? And how do you think they will remove it.
Hi I have gone through your complaints. Fibroids are benign tumors.the treatment option depends on age, whether you are having children or not and the menstrual bleeding.if you are above 40 and completed family with heavy bleeding it causing it is best to go for removal.if you ate younger age group and its not causing menstrual bleeding abnormalities its best to monitor them.the size of lesion you mentioned is. 5x4.5x4.5cm .you didnt mention where in uterus.if submucosal fibroid and not having children plan wil be to remove lesion (myomectomy) not hysterectomy. Lower back pain if not related with periods its not due to fibroid.that needs evaluation by orthopedician.most of times it may be due to disc problem. Thank you With regards Vasundhara
