Suggest Treatment For V-shaped Indentation On The Forehead Of A Child

Hi there, I have a six month old boy who has had a v-shaped indentation at the top of his forehead near the hairline - since birth i believe. it almost looks like this section of the skin is stuck to the skull. What is the cause of this, what is it and should I do anything about it now that could prevent it from either getting worse or being permanent? Thank you.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It might be a congenital problem.

Consult a plastic surgeon and get evaluated.

He might require a reconstructive surgery probably.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
