Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Discharge And Pelvic Cramps

I have been having vaginal discharge (white and yellow) with chills and a prolonged headache. As well, I have pelvic cramping as if I was going to having my menstrual cycle. My last menstrual cycle was 30 March-5 April. I am only sexually active with my husband. I have never had these symptoms before. I don t know what this could be.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The white and yellow vaginal discharge you are having are indicative for vaginal bacterial and fungal infection.

As they are associated with chills and prolonged headache, and pelvic pain, these are also indicating possible infection.

To my opinion you need oral and local medications to fight bacteria and yeast infection. Discuss this further with your OG.

For the moment, I can only advise to:
- avoid sexual intercourse until improvement
- keep good genital hygiene

All the best!
