Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Dryness Leading To Painful Intercourse
I have had breast cancer about 20 years ago when I was 29 years old. I had a lumpectomy and chemo and radiation. Seven years ago I had a total hysterectomy and my ovaries removed. I suffered from vaginal dryness for years which resulted in painful sex. I was told recently to take oestriol vag compounded pessaries 500MCG. After a month of taking it I have noticed I have suffered from severe headaches and hair loss. It comes out more noticibly when I wash my hair ( in clumps). I have decided to stop taking it. Now I have been prescribed vagifem pessaries 25mcg, will I get same side effects?

In case you are suffering from vaginal dryness, I suggest you to use vaginal lubricants if the estrogen pessaries are causing side effects.
