Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Infections?

Hi. My boyfriend moved to California a year ago and I m still in Michigan, so we only see each other for a week at a time about every 6 weeks. Since he moved, I have been getting vaginal infections (yeast and bacterial) every time after I see him. The first few times I had yeast infections which cleared up with over the counter creams. A few months ago, though, I had the thick, white, cheesy discharge AND fleshy bumps (more like skin tags). The bumps weren t hard or white. They were moderately sore. The creams didn t work, so I went to a gynecologist. I had a pap (which came back normal) and was tested for herpes (which came back negative). I also had a culture which came back as bacterial vaginosis. I was put on antibiotics and my symptoms cleared up. They came back again, though, and so did the bumps...only lots worse. Are these bumps symptomatic of BV or is this something different altogether? My gyno said that she thought they were symptomatic of BV, but I couldn t get in to see her until they had almost gone away...she didn t see them when they were out in full force. My vagina doesn t look normal...there are pieces of skin almost hanging all around the inside close to the entrance.
