Hey! I am a 19 year old girl. I ve been having vaginal itching from past 8-9 months. It started after i had sex for like third time. It itches A LOT. Sometimes the wall of my vagina even turns reddish in colour. It itches even more when i sweat. Please tell me any solution to stop this. I have tried putting ice on my vaginal wall yet nothing happened. Also, I don t face any problem while urinating. I am unable to have sex now because when i tried it pinched a lot. HELP
Bacterial or yeast infection of vagina is common after unprotected intercourse. Usually Vaginal irritation will often get better on its own. However, if the irritation continues & is severe, call for an appointment with your doctor. The doctor can do a pelvic exam. The doctor will probably also take a sample of the discharge to find the source of the problem and treat you accordingly.
Hoping that I have solved your problem.
Thank you.
Regards, Dr. Nikhila
