Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Pain After Shaving

Hello my name is lacy, i currently 32 weeks pregnant and i decided i wanted to do some personal grooming, it has been a struggle trying to shave my vagina so i decided to try some nair i had in the pantry, it said for bikini so i applied it and afterwords i found it stinging around the lips and clitoris area ive since washes with gentle soap and soaked in a luke warm bath. Do u have any suggestions on what i could get a pharmacy to relieve the pain or should i go to hospital?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Vagina/vulva have delicate skin specially so on pregnancy due to increased blood supply- making it more sensitive to the hair removing agent used.
You have not mentioned what was used for hair removal/ it may have crossed expiry date .I feel you have an allergic reaction & inflammation of the are area. following the application.
You should clean with plain /clean cold water.
Apply Betnovate ointment,
Take tab Combiflam after eating. twice a day.
You should have relief in 24 hours. If not consult a gynecologist for specific treatment after local examination.
