Suggest Treatment For Vaginitis

Hello, I'm 22 years old and I got a vaginitis, I was given Gyno-Canesten to use, it's some sort of cream that you have to incert in the vagina so it cleans the fungus away, but I've never had sex before, I wanted to know if that will affect my hymen and how can I apply it in a way that can do its function of cleaning the fungus without affecting my virginity?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
- The cream tube packing has an applicator with a small /smooth tipped syringe like apparatus, which can easily be inserted in vagina & instill the ointment it contains into vagina.( you can take your mother's /a nurses help for that.
- Apart from ointment, you can take Tab. Metranidazole 400 mg twice a day after food- this will give earlier/complete result.
- Genital hygiene ( routine/ during menstruation) are of utmost importance to cure/prevent such problem in future.
