How Long Does Bleeding Take Place After Medical Abortion?
hi doc, am 26yrs n underwent medical abortion 15 days back. still i have bit bleeding daily n noticed vaginitis since yesterday ie hav itching n small eruptions can b felt in inner vaginal wall n it itches n red all over. wat treatment should be taken for vaginitis (no white discharge). n how many days it can bleed after medical abortion? please do the needful, thanks sir

Understand your concern
Bleeding will stop 7 days after using pill. As per your history you are bleeding after 15 days. It is not normal. Following are causes: incomplete abortion,vaginal/pelvic infection along with vaginitis.
You should consult the gynecologist.
Vaginal infection/vaginitis is diagnosed by examination and by swab test.
Advice: wash with warm salted water 2-3 times, apply apple cider vinegar, ointment of hydrocirtisole plus clotrimazole, wear pure cotton loose undergarments, antibiotic course for 7 days, keep the area clean and dry, maintain hygiene after and before urination.
Incomplete abortion is diagnosed by USG scan. If it is there it should be treated by misoprostol or by D & C.
