Suggest Treatment For Varicose Vein In The Scrotum
i have varicose veins on the skin of my scrotum that protrude from the skin, are painful, and acquire small blood clots. is there some time of laser surgery to remove them. they are quite exstensive and cover almost both the right and left side of my scrotum sac
Hello my friend I am Dr. Arianisa Thanks for your question on HCM
Varicocele treatment may not be necessary. If a varicocele is causing no symptoms or problems, then it is best left alone. However, if your varicocele causes pain, testicular atrophy or infertility or if you are considering assisted reproductive techniques, you may want to undergo varicocele repair. Clear indications to repair a varicocele in adolescence include progressive testicular atrophy, pain or abnormal semen analysis results. Although treatment of a varicocele generally improves sperm characteristics, it is not clear if an untreated varicocele leads to progressive worsening of sperm quality over time. Treatment involves tying off the veins that are enlarged. Another method of treatment is to use a special substance injected into the veins (blood vessels) to block them. Both methods are usually successful. Your surgeon will advise on the pros and cons of the different techniques.
