Suggest Treatment For Vasovagal Syncope

My son is 16, 6'2" 175 Lbs...very lean and is an athlete...he has been diagnosed with vasovagal syncope.....his cardiologist says he is safe but he is fearing that he too may suddenly die on the court/field like other high school athletes...what is your opinion.
