Suggest Treatment For Vertigo And Difficulty Walking

My mother,aged 70 years, diabetic since last 15+ years has developed vertigo since last few months. Regularly taking vertin 16mg twice. But the problem is not getting over. Due to vertigo she is finding it difficult to walk. Please advice what is the remedy. P Sarkar Barauni, Bihar

The symptoms of your mother seem to be related to Meniere disease.

I recommend her to use Meclizine hydrochloride.

It is an over the counter medication.

I also recommend to avoid salt in the diet.
