Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Am 82 I woke this morning and started to get up and had vertigo but it passed when I Sato the side of the bed my daughter was putting a cream under my stomach she pulled me up and I was extremely dizzy for a few minutes but it passed. Have been having a rather strong pain in my temple from time to time all day.
First and foremost thing you should do is hydrate yourself. When you're dehydrated, your blood vessels shrink to maintain the blood pressure which is why blood supply to your brain may get reduced than normal. This is the reason you feel dizzy.
This could also be a reason for your headache. However, at your age, there could be some more serious reasons causing the headache and vertigo. Hence visiting a Physician and getting the necessary work up done is a must.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Rutuja, General & Family Physician
