Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Last night I suffered an incident of vertigo...spinning room. Then I vomited three times. I then began having difficulty maintaining my balance. The next day (today), no spinning room, no vomiting, but still not back to normal as far as my sense of balance. Much better than yesterday, though.
Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. Vertigo with vomiting is due to labyrinthine disorder in inner ear due to many reasons 1. lack of sleep 2. caffeine, diabetes, high cholesterol, anemia, thyroid diseases 3. inner ear infection 4. dehydration 5. Menier's disease I would like to advise you to have sound sleep, take plenty of water, take some home remedies like coriander seeds, almond, strawberry, lemon juice or ginger. Boil and squeeze in water and Take it. If problem still persist take medicines like serc (betahistine)betaserc or betavert and stematil. If not relieved even with these over the counter medications then go for investigations Pure tone audiogram, Complete blood count and TFTs. Hope it helps best.
