Suggest Treatment For Vertigo

Hello, After a bout with a inner ear infection/virus I still have vertigo - what is your recommendation for this? It seemed to get better and a couple of days ago I was picking up and placing laundry in the wash and it now seems pretty bad, keeping me from looking to the right or left without getting somewhat dizzy...

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain vertigoand dizziness can be due to causes like like Inner ear infection that seems to be a cause in your case..
Other causes can be related to ear disorders like Meniere's disease, labyrinthitis, while can also be due to Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo, severe motion sickness, Cervical spondylosis, Peripheral Vertigo etc..

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray, MRI SCAN of ear and cervical column, blood tests etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised to wear neck support straps and medical therapy with Betahistine..
In case of infection antibiotics can be advised..
Vestibular rehabilitation can also be advised..
Avoid sudden jerky neck movements and take sufficient rest..
