Suggest Treatment For Viral Fever,loose Motion And Vomiting
good morning doctor
iam viral fever fever since past 6 days. along with loose motion and vomiting. iam 9 months pregnant. iam taking DOLO 650 mg as per my doctors advice. when i take medicine the fever subsided but it again attacks after 7 hours..esp in the night.more vomiting ang loose motion is there. can help and suggest how long the fever will continue

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having symptoms of viral fever,loose motion and vomiting which could be due to gastroenteritis which is infection due to poor immunity of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do tepid sponging for immediate relief as you having high degree fever. You should take small and frequent meals and avoid large meals intake. You should take proper antibiotic course in combination with Ibuprofen/ Acetaminophen. Visit general physician once and get it examined. You should get routine blood test done and start treatment after proper diagnosis. You should avoid intake of outside oily and fast food. Normally viral fever take one week duration to get recovered. Avoid oily and sharp food. Drink plenty of fluids.
