Suggest Treatment For Viral Infection And Sore Throat
How can I help my viral infection? This has been going on about 12 days. I am on the blood thinner, Xarelto, and had to go and get my right nostril cauterized a few days ago. My throat is not really sore anymore, but I have a huge amount of plemn in the nose and the throat. Help. Doris

what helps is inhaling with hot steam,and drinking a lot of fluid like water and tea (ginger tea f.ex). Also some Nosespray ("Cold Spray" like Xylometazoline or similar) can reduce the phlegm. You should avoid eating or drinking a lot of sugar since that feeds it. usually it should get better within the next 3-5 days.
