Suggest Treatment For Visible Epiglottis Causing Difficulty In Swallowing

My epiglottis has been visible for the last two months, makes me gag and uncomfortable breathing and swallowing. Now my throat has been slightly sore the past few days. My gp doesn t see any concern, my ENT did a scope and saw silent reflux for which I m on nexium, went to ER when first noticed epiglottis for fear of epiglotitis and they did an xray of my neck and looked at my epiglottis and saw no concern. This is bothersome and seems to be getting worse. What could be the cause and how can I treat this. Causing major discomfort as well as anxiety.
