General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

There is no treatment of vitiligo so effective so as to effectively make all the spots disappear. There is no cure for vitiligo. Treatment with UVA & UVB light help to slow down the discoloring process & return some color to your skin.

You are suggested to get your child physically examined by a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care. All the best.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
