Hi Doctor, I am 28 yeras old, female. I have a stable vitiligo on my lips. This vitiligo is only on my lip area and no where else on my body and i have had it for more than 7-8 yeras now. I have taken UV treatment in the past, but so far it didnt help at all. I have been advised by my Doctor to go through a Suction Blister Grafting. I am a little nervous about it..Can you suggest if its the right treatment for the vitiligo on my lip and where can I get it done in delhi.
I understand from your query that you have been having stable vitiligo on your lips.
Stable vitiligo of the lip area which remained unchanged for so many years indicates that you are an ideal candidate for suction blister grafting.
The results of this procedure on the lip area is quite good.
You can go ahead with the procedure from a good dermatologist. I am sorry I will not be able to suggest any particular doctor on this forum.
Hope this provides you reassurance.
Take care.
