Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been diagnosed with vocal paralysis. I got a c scan last week and the results came out negative for cancer and/or mass. My doctor ordered an ultra sound, which I had yesterday. His nurse called and reported that there are benign nodules on my thyroid. I am unable to sing and I am experiencing voice loss when I speak. Is there anything that can be done? Or, should I get a second opinion. My doc wants me to wait a year; however, I am a singer and that is impossible...
