Suggest Treatment For Vomiting And Diarrhea While Treating GERD

My husband has been throwing up and has had diarrhea all day. It doesn t appear to be the flu. He ate some food yesterday that had a lot of spices in it. He also has barrett s disease which he normally takes medicine for. However, he did not take it yesterday before he ate spicy foods. No fever or chills. When he throws up, it s dark brown color and his diarrhea is watery. What do you think this is and what should we do? Thank you!
