Suggest Treatment For Vomiting And Rashes In A Child
11-year-old girl has Circular, bullseye rash. It appeared on Tuesday. (I didn t notice the rash until today, which is Saturday.) On Tuesday night she vomited twice, then stayed home from school the next day. No fever. Slight loss of appetite on Wednesday. She says she felt fine after that, and was back in school on Thursday.
Circular bullseye rash along with loss of appetite, tiredness, vomiting need further investigation to rule out Lyme disease. Lyme disease is a bacterial infection caused by tick bite. Treatment is with antibiotics. Please be advised to follow up with her pediatrician to confirm the diagnosis and appropriate management.
