Suggest Treatment For Vomiting, Dizziness And Vertigo
I am very weak. I was recently hospitalized with vertigo and severe vomiting. I was released after 3 days. I have a followup visit with an ENT on April 12th. Meanwhile I am very weak and still dizzy. I have been prescribed Ativan and Valium. I don t know what to take, when to take it and if I should take it. I am getting worse every day. I was released from the hospital over a week ago. I don t have a regular doctor to call.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are suffering from vomiting, dizziness and vertigo . Well there can be many reasons for this like inflammation within the inner ear sometimes due to infection, head injury , certain medications and due to cervical spondylosis, meniere's disease , acoustic neuroma , sinusitis and multiple sclerosis migraines. So i would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon once to get examination for any injury or cervical spondylosis . You should visit ENT specialist as well. Doctor may order certain tests like CT scan , MRI , blood test , audiometry test, and ECG to confirm the diagnosis. You should take antibiotics as well as antiemetic drug . For now i would like to suggest you some home remedies drink green tea with ginger thrice a day and drink lots of fluids like juices and water. Also avoid bending forward .
