Sunday morning went ok but shortly after lunch it began again but I hadn t eaten anything. This session lasted for about 30 mins of dry heaves solid and even more intense. I wen t to bed after it subsided. Monday morning my body hurt so badly I could barely move, I mean extreme pain. It has gotten better as the week went on but tonight there is a very , and has been all week intermittently, and it continues. The remaining sharp intense pain is on my left side mid ribcage in the back and I am still sore all over from last weekend. Any ideas? Curt

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You have been having body aches, pain left side & mid rib cage, vomiting & dry heaves. It looks like allergic reaction to some food you had taken. However, it could be due to your liver dysfunction.

Body-ache is because of dehydration & electrolyte depletion of your body system after throwing out. Pain epigastrium is commonly due to acid reflux.

Discomfort left side chest can be due to developing cardiovascular disease.

You are suggested to get medical check up done in ER, get CBC, Urinalysis, Liver & Lipid function tests done. You may have to get required Imaging tests done.

In the meantime, take PPI's, Pantoprazol - 40mg, one sos when required to get rid of acid reflux & pain. For body aches take, Acetaminophen, one sos.

Take soups, juice & water to do away with dehydration. Take home made food, avoid spices, junk food. Cut on alcohol.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
