My 13 yr old grandson seems to puke alot especially in the am. I think it s in his head and so he does it but is there some kind of treatment for that. He missed 30 days of school in 5 months. What kind of doctor would I need to find to have him checked out.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Chronic morning emesis in child can be an alarming sign of some intracranial pathology as tumor or else. Primary relief with dispersible tablet of Ondancetron can be obtained. Kindly fix an appointment with his pediatrician for further clinical assessment and radiology work up necessary.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
