Suggest Treatment For Vomiting In An Infant After Breastfeeding
Hi, My twins boys are 6 and half month old. Both are having slight cough and runny nose since last evening. Today morning, after getting their mother feed, both started vomiting. Now, both are looking lazy and weak. their body temperature is normal. Please suggest!
It looks they have got some viral infection. It mostly settles on its own. You just. Need to keep them hydrated by feeding them repeatedly. Feeding ORS solution may be very helpful.
Just observe them keenly, if they are very weak, persistent vomiting, or refuse feeds continuously, then you should take them for assessments. Try to feed them repeatedly even if they vomit.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman, General & Family Physician
